As a We Are California partner, our campaigns are part of a larger statewide movement to build our political power and strategy throughout the state. In order to win big change, up and down the state groups like Oakland Rising are mobilizing thousands of Californians to fight for housing, healthcare, education, clean air and water, public safety alternatives and other issues that impact our communities day to day.
It is our time to stand up to wealthy corporations who continue to make record profits, drain taxpayer money, avoid taxes, and undermine city services. Although California has the fifth largest economy of the world, we continue to see the same problems surface in our town and the daily lives of our neighbors, as the “post-pandemic” recovery continues to fail so many of us. No matter our background and zip code, we all deserve to thrive. Together We Are California!
