Oakland Rising is looking to hire an enthusiastic, hard-working person to direct our civic engagement activities in 2015 and beyond. The ideal Field Director candidate will have working knowledge and experience with electoral organizing and a proven commitment to social justice and equity for low-income, immigrant communities of color. Candidate must be able to harness and focus the collective energy and expertise of coalition partners and provide programmatic direction to advance our collective electoral field and policy work.
We hope to have the right candidate hired by the middle of February, but will be accepting applications until the position is filled.
